Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own.
Is God interested in all our daily problems and things that concerns us? Yes. He’s interested in every detail of our lives. That means we can take any problem we have to Him without hesitation!
Don’t let your worries about tomorrow affect your relationship with God today. He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you so there is nothing to worrying about.
Sometimes, people get discouraged in life because things didn’t turn out the way they hoped on the first try. Maybe they put energy into a relationship but it didn’t work out. They tried that new business venture, but they are still struggling with their finances. Now they think it’s never going to happen. But, one thing we have to learn is that God honors perseverance. On the way to your “yes” you may encounter some “no’s.” You may encounter some closed doors, but that doesn’t mean it’s the final answer. It just means “keep going.”
Remember, if God promised it, He’s going to bring it to pass. Scripture tells us that through faith and patience we inherit God’s promises. This is where patience comes in; this is where perseverance comes in. This is where trust comes in. Just because you don’t see things happen right away doesn’t mean you should quit. No, instead, rise up and press forward. Keep believing, keep hoping, keep enduring and keep asking because our God is always faithful to His word!
“Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
If there is a common thread that should run through the life of a Christian each day, it’s prayer. Now, that doesn’t mean you refuse to speak to anyone else or that you drive down the road with your eyes closed. But it does mean being ever ready and willing to go before God. Nothing is too small or too big for God to care about. He created you, so why wouldn’t He care about you? You should bathe your life in prayer. Pray for wisdom, peace, and patience. Pray for your marriage, your job, and your children. Pray for other people and circumstances, even when the situation may seem hopeless. Give every person and everything in your life to God in prayer — and they will be in the best of hands!
God can turn your broken mess into something beautiful. Many men claim to want a virtuous woman like Ruth, and many women claim to want their Boaz to find them. Do we understand that Ruth was in a broken place when Boaz found her? Ruth just lost her husband at a young age and all of the women around her experienced loss. She had every right to be bitter or give up on God. Instead she continued to follow Naomi and said she would follow her God as well. Ruth continued following God and Boaz found her. You see, when you take your eyes off God, you allow circumstances and situations to distract you and cause you to drown like Peter. When you keep your eyes on Jesus then what you want will come straight to you. You don’t have to question the timing, just know that it’ll come because your eyes on Jesus. Stop allowing the loss you’ve experience to distract you from God. Let your pain push you closer to Jesus and He will always honor your faithfulness. So men, continue to do God’s work and allow Him to mold you. You never know if God will lead you to a broken woman that He wants for you to pray with for her healing. Maybe she was cheated on and she no longer trusts men. Show her that God still has faithful men. Show her that even if a man fails her, Christ is there for her. Lead her to Him, not sin. Pray with her until she’s free of the burdens of the past. And ladies, don’t allow one mans mistakes cause you to lose confidence that God is able to raise faithful men. Maybe the man you loved died like Ruth’s husband, that doesn’t mean be bitter. Every circumstance is an opportunity to grow. Stay focused, grace and peace.
